The Intercontinental Journal of Emergency Medicine aims to publish issues related to all fields of emergency medicine and all specialties involved in the management of emergencies in the hospital and prehospital environment of the highest scientific and clinical value at an international level and accepts articles on these topics.

ICJEM makes accepted manuscripts available online before copyediting, typesetting, and final publication. These manuscripts have successfully completed peer review and have been formally accepted for publication.
At this stage, the author’s final accepted version is made available online without a DOI. A DOI is assigned when the final Version of Record is published.
Accepted manuscripts may undergo editorial, linguistic, and formatting changes during the production process. The final Version of Record will supersede the accepted manuscript upon publication.
